Overview

It all began with a dream and a slice of the Texas hill country. Gail & Jennie McCulloch, our founders, tied the knot and settled into a life that blended love, laughter, and the fruits of the land. This dream grew into what we now cherish as Fat Ass Winery & Brewery – a name inspired by a moment of humor and a dash of reality when they noticed their beloved donkey, Jackson, growing as sturdy as the horses!

As our Fat Ass adventure continues to evolve, we pay tribute to the wonderful legacy of Gail & Jennie. Their spirit, humor, and dedication to quality and community are the bedrock upon which we build our future. We’re honored to carry forward the torch, adding our unique flair while preserving the essence of what makes Fat Ass Ranch & Winery a special place.
